Hello, I’m Isaac.

Since graduating over 20 years ago with CCNA, CompTIA A+, and a National Diploma for IT Practitioners, I’ve been specialising in the business IT industry, during which time I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients. From schools, local authorities, and solicitors to international e-commerce companies, I’ve collaborated with all sorts of organisations, both large and small.

One principle that guides my professional approach is a commitment to clear communication. While it’s my responsibility to handle the technical aspects of your IT needs, it’s equally important to ensure you are well-informed. That’s why I avoid ‘technobabble’ and prioritise explaining things in a manner that’s easy to understand.

Too often, I’ve encountered tech professionals who baffle their clients with jargon, and so I’ve seen firsthand how this can erode trust and create a divide between these people and their clients. I aim to foster a different kind of relationship with my clients, one built on clear communication and confidence.

In terms of technical skills, I have both broad and specialist experience that spans advanced Ethernet and Wi-Fi network design, from small secure office networks to expansive warehouse-spanning setups, holiday parks, and long-distance WISP links.

I also have extensive experience with Windows and Linux server environments, PC/Mac setups, as well as cloud systems such as Office 365, Azure, Google Cloud. Moreover, I’m well-versed in project planning and management.

Over my career, there have been very few technical challenges I haven’t been able to tackle by applying a systematic, logical process to whatever comes across my desk.
